Web and Social Media
This year, as Editor-in-Chief of my school paper, I pushed for an upgrade to Dateline's website, which has been in teh talks for many years but had never been accomplished. This school year, however, we finally switched from Wordpress to SNO Sites. The old website had several bug errors and would often crash, and the new website no longer has these issues and allows for more design flexibility. I had to manage picking a template for the website that was compatible with our style and or preferences as a publication. After switching sites, I had to fix certain aspects of the site that had not carried over from before, such as image formatting and the "About Us" and "Meet the Staff" pages.

This is the Staff page I created, which was a new feature we could add to the upgraded website.

In addition, I have also worked to improve Dateline's social media platforms. Since I became Editor-in-Chief, we have adopted a new Instagram template for posts on published stories.
